Summer is a time to explore new ideas, learn new skills, make new friends, take risks, see new places, and have fun. Summer can also be a stressful time for working families, who need to be sure that their children are safe, healthy, and learning during the months school is not in session. Fortunately, there are many wonderful summer programs, classes, camps, and other opportunities for children and youth in San Francisco, and the annual Summer Resource Fair is the best place to find out about them!
The 2017 Summer Resource Fair will take place on Saturday, March 11 from 10am to 2pm at the County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park. The Fair is free to attend, and will feature 200 exhibitors from organizations that offer summer programs, classes, camps, and other services for children and youth ages 0-24. The Fair is also a lot of fun: many of the exhibitors will host activities at their tables, the SF Rec & Park Department will host a range of sports, arts & crafts, and other play stations, the SF Public Library will give away books, and Play-Well TEKnologies will work with attendees to build a model of the city of San Francisco out of LEGOs!
Please help us spread the word about the Fair! Visit this link for a PDF of the official Summer Resource Fair flyer.
