How to Apply for a DCYF Grant

All available Grants issued by DCYF are posted on the Current DCYF Grant Opportunities Page.  The Grant Opportunity page has a list of "open" and "closed" grant opportunities.  Be sure to check periodically for updates.

How to Become a DCYF Grantee

To become a DCYF Grantee you must have the following:

1. You must be a Certified Vendor for the city of San Francisco.
You will NOT be funded if you do not become a city vendor.
Apply for a Vendor Number - Vendor Application (pdf).
2. You must be awarded a grant through the RFP Process.

After you've been awarded a grant, your agency will go through a "Contract Process".  The contract (sample) is a Grant Agreement between the City of San Francisco and a Grantee.  The contract will provide details regarding the scope of work (workplan) and any other requirements to be provided with the funds that have been allocated to the Grantee.
